Please review our  Criteria Page to fully understand what is required to be approved for funding.

          Can you answer YES to all of the following questions?
  • Is your project led by youth?
  • Will it help reduce pollution, conserve natural resources, promote species biodiversity, or save energy in Carmel, Indiana?
  • Do you have a complete and realistic budget?
  • Do you have permission to do your project?

Carmel Green Teen Grants are now administered through the CICF Hamilton County Community Foundation.

Feb 23 - Carmel Clay Schools Administrative Approval Form due via email (strongly encouraged by this date). *Only for projects taking place on Carmel Clay Schools property. See application for details.

March 16, 2018 - Application deadline. Completed application including signature page needs to be received via email, mail, or drop off.

March 27, 2018 - Mandatory Grant Review Session- Grant applicants (at least two youths and one adult)  must attend a short interview appointment to receive funding. Each group will be given a 15-minute appointment time during which they present their project idea and answer any application questions we might have.

Early April, 2018 - You will be notified by email by this date regarding funding of your project.

Grant Award Ceremony - May 4, 2018 at Founders Park - Grant money awarded at this time.


Project Completion Reports are due within two weeks of completing your project.
